Market Scan

The Market Scan is used for scanning the whole RuneScape market for graphs that match the strategies selected below.

Clicking on the Show Tips button will bring up a login screen that uses you forum login account name and password. If your account gets locked out then you must go to the forum to unlock the account. Paid subscriptions get an unlimited number of scans but the free version is limited to a few scans per strategy.

There are some options to help you narrow down a selection of items:

• Use Volatility for the recommended buy / sell prices
• Show your watch list
• Show items matching a fundamental strategy
• Show items matching a technical strategy
• Show items matching a flip strategy
• Show items matching an oversold strategy

There are also price and volatilty limits

Merchstation uses the local database for the scan but for all matching items, it adds them to the processing queue so that the database is updated as a priority on all the items that have just been scanned and matched. This keeps the scanning processing very fast and updates the relevant items rapidly.
